These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ShaadiTaiyari, including our website and related services (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility
To use ShaadiTaiyari you must:
- be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of marriage where you live if that is higher;
- be legally able to marry under the laws that apply to you, and not currently married unless legally separated or divorced;
- be able to form a binding contract.
2. Your account
2.1 Accurate information
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when you register and to keep your profile up to date. Profiles may be created by members themselves or by family members acting with their knowledge and consent.
2.2 Security
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
2.3 Verification
Some features — such as sending interests, chatting and viewing full profile details — are available only after you verify your email address and phone number. Verified members receive a badge and appear first in search results. We may ask for additional verification at any time.
3. Acceptable use
When using the Platform, you agree not to:
- provide false or misleading information, or impersonate anyone;
- use the Platform for anything other than genuine matrimonial purposes;
- harass, threaten, abuse or intimidate other members;
- ask other members for money, gifts or financial information;
- send spam, advertising or other unsolicited promotional content;
- upload content that is obscene, hateful, defamatory or that you don't have the right to share;
- access other members' accounts or data, or use bots or scrapers on the Platform;
- break any applicable law.
4. Profile content
You keep ownership of the content you add, including photos and descriptions. By posting it, you give ShaadiTaiyari a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and display it to other members as part of the Platform. Photos must be recent, clear pictures of you; we may remove content that breaks these Terms.
5. Matches and communication
ShaadiTaiyari helps members discover and contact one another, but we do not guarantee the accuracy of profiles, compatibility, or the outcome of any interaction. We do not run background checks. Please use good judgement: keep early conversations on the Platform, never send money to someone you haven't met, and meet in a public place, ideally with family, the first time.
6. Kundali matching
Kundali reports are generated automatically from the birth details members provide and are offered for guidance only. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified astrologer.
7. Reporting, suspension and termination
You can report any profile you believe breaks these Terms. We review reports and may warn, suspend or remove accounts, with or without notice, for violations, fraud, or to protect our members. You may stop using the Platform at any time; to close your account, email support@shaaditaiyari.com.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information. By using the Platform you agree to it.
9. Intellectual property
The Platform's design, software, text, graphics and logos belong to ShaadiTaiyari and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify or distribute them without our written permission.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShaadiTaiyari is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or from your interactions with other members.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes we will let you know on the Platform. Continuing to use ShaadiTaiyari after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.
